Which issue will my subscription start with and how many will I receive?
Print subscriptions are determined by our publishing schedule and start with the issue currently in print or the next one, whichever one is closer. You’ll receive a total of five (5) print magazines over the course of your subscription, bimonthly except during the summer: January, March, May, September, and November. You may also order past issues as part of your subscription; email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with the past issues you would like to receive as part of your subscription, or if you’d like to start your subscription with an issue other than the current one.
What are the benefits of subscribing?
Subscriptions give readers the newest issue of Maple arriving to their doorstep five times per year, and shipping is free within Canada.
Do subscriptions auto-renew?
Subscriptions will auto-renew on the day that they are due to expire: one year after purchase. We will inform you by email when your subscription is due to auto-renew. Please note that gift subscriptions purchased for someone other than yourself will not auto-renew.
Should you prefer your subscription not to auto-renew, you can disable this function in your account settings. Simply log in and access the user menu from the toolbar on the top right of the home page. Select “View Order” and click “Turn Off Auto-Renew.” This will end the recurring payment but continue the subscription for the remaining issues for which payment has already been processed. My subscription has ended. How do I renew?
Your subscription will automatically renew, so you don’t need to take any further action to keep receiving issues of Maple.
Can I cancel my subscription?
To cancel your auto-renewal, please sign into your account and click cancel auto-renewal under subscriptions, or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Can I get a refund after canceling my subscription?
If after receiving your first issue of Maple you're not satisfied, we'll refund your credit card. Please contact us within two weeks of receiving the issue at email@example.com. Unfortunately we do not offer refunds after the first issue.
I’ve relocated since subscribing. How do I change my address?
Please write to our customer service team at firstname.lastname@example.org with the order information (your name, the incorrect address and the correct address for shipping your orders). If the order has not yet been shipped, we can make the change. Unfortunately, if the order has already shipped, we are unable to reroute your delivery. In that case, we are happy to provide you with a replacement issue.
To ensure that your copy of Maple arrives as soon as possible, we ask that you notify us of any impending address changes no later than 6 weeks after you received your last issue of Maple.
Please note that we are unable to accept responsibility for replacement issues if the correct information is not supplied.
How soon can I expect my order?
Delivery can take 1-2 weeks for orders within Canada and the US, or 3 weeks for international shipments depending on your location and local customs*. If you have any questions about your order, feel free to write to us at email@example.com.
* International orders may be subject to import duties and customs taxes. All incurred charges are the responsibility of the buyer: The Naturalist Publishing has no control over these. Any questions or queries for customs policies must be made to your local customs office.

Where does Maple deliver?
Maple ships worldwide. If you would like confirmation that we can ship to your address, please contact our customer service department at email@example.com.
Can I order back issues of Maple as part of my subscription?
Yes, however, we have limited inventory for our back issues. If you would like to receive back issues as part of your subscription, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org specifying which issues you would like to receive.
What are the different shipping costs?
Shipping costs are calculated at the checkout once the country to which the shipment is being sent has been specified. You will be aware of the shipping cost before submitting your order. Please note that shipping is free for subscriptions and orders over $20 within Canada. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
Orders $35.00 and up = free shipping
Orders $35.00 and up = shipping x 5 issues is $25.00 ($5 per issue)
Orders $25.00 and up = shipping x 5 issues is $50.00 ($10 per issue)
Why are international shipping and handling costs so high?
We print and ship from Canada, hence the high shipping costs to international destinations.
What forms of payment are accepted?
The Naturalist accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
