True North organic living.
The motive of The Naturalist is to produce impeccable-quality publications that are centred around organic living, sustainability and natural health, in print. With daily lives becoming increasingly noisy, and the detrimental effects on mind and body from excessive screen time beginning to be understood, we strongly believe in the pleasure and value of good-quality print content. A space to engage without disruption.
Beyond clean food and well being, we believe in organic lifestyle as a conscious choice. One where the palette, fibres and essences of nature are woven into minimalist, enriching design and soothing scents. One where conscious becomes an innate part of everyday living, working, parenting, and traveling. One where food and lifestyle are medicine, for the mind and body.
The Naturalist publications are manufactured using FSC-certified and Ecologo-certified quality paper. Printing and is done by Mitchell Press in Burnaby, BC, a family-owned printer of quality publications, recipient of numerous printing and environmental awards and ranked no. 3 amongst North America’s largest commercial printers for sustainability practices (Canopy Blueline Report 2018). The Naturalist also produces The Maple Box, a quarterly subscription box for life in the True North.
The Naturalist is based in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
